Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet (French, 1880-1950) Egyptian Dancer, c. 1930, ivory and cold-painted, paste-set, and gilded bronze, the figure balanced on one leg and wearing elaborate headdress, jewelry, and full skirt, on a base incised "Cl J R Colinet" and numbered "11," on a rouge marble pedestal, figure ht. 9 1/4 in.; total ht. 12 in. Shrinkage cracks to ivory. One snake armband and wrist band slightly loose. Repairs to standing foot and leg. Figure slightly loose on bronze base. Scattered loss to cold painting and gilding. Scattered chips to marble.
