Joe Descomps (French, 1869-1950) Gilt-bronze and Ivory Figure of a Woman with Flowers, cast with her head bowed and her hands holding her dress which is full of flowers, raised on a rouge marble pedestal, bronze signed "Joe Descomps," stamped "FRANCE" and numbered "1972," bronze ht. 9 1/8 in. Several small shrinkage cracks to face and neck, arms also with larger shrinkage cracks. Left arms slightly loose. Loss to one thumb.
