Rare Classical Mahogany Carved and Mahogany Veneer Child's Work Table, probably Massachusetts, c. 1825, the rectangular top with ovolo corners and inset cast brass rosettes framed by concentric rings above quarter-engaged vase and ring-turned legs carved with baskets of fruit against a punchwork background continuing to spiral carving and turned feet on castors, all joined by two drawers, the top with a fitted interior and the lower with bag compartment, old brass pulls, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 20 1/4, wd. 15 3/4, dp. 14 1/2 in.
