Two Early Wooden Dolls, Germany, mid-19th century, an "alien" head woman with blue painted eyes, brown human hair wig in looped braids to bun in back (crack at join of head to body), wooden body, hands and one upper leg (other parts of limbs missing), original organdy and lace dress (soiled and stained), and well-carved man with full beard (discolored finish, chip on toe), wearing brown and black velvet with gold braid trim, both ht. 6 1/4 in.
