Two Mother-of-Pearl Ladies' Fans, mid-19th century, one with "The Village Fountain" lithographed scene, Chinese boating scene on reverse, fourteen sticks, two guards, all reticulated mother-of-pearl with the center etched with a scene of a courting couple, lg. 10 1/2 in.; and one with a lithographed scene "The Reading," sixteen sticks, two guards, all with silver floral inserts, fringe of feathers, elaborate tassel, original box with matching decoration.
