SFBJ 301 from Au Nain Bleu with Trunk and Wardrobe, France, early 20th century, doll with blue sleeping eyes with lashes, open mouth, upper teeth, pale even coloring, rosy cheeks, original golden blonde mohair wig in long overall waves, fully articulated composition and wood body with oval paper label BEBE VRAI MODELE Fabrication Jumeau , wearing yellow cotton dress with russet brown trim, reticulated brown sandals, doll ht. 15 in.; wardrobe of clothes consists of a pink cotton dress with Au Nain Bleu label, French blue silk dress, white cotton dress with lace insertion, a pale cotton dress, blue cotton housecoat with floral appliques, silk slip, jersey shirt, white bib, two straw hats, a lace-covered bonnet, a pale blue silk cloche covered and trimmed with netting, a crocheted cap, bronzed leather shoes (seem small, missing buckles), wool sweater and hat (moth damage), all contained in a drop-front trunk with two full-width drawers, 12 1/2 x 19 1/2 x 11 in.
