At the match, Pelé was also presented a medal from FIFA for his services to football by then FIFA President João Havelange. The medallions feature the FIFA globe emblem and "Founded/ 1904" lettering on the front with "Argentina-Italia/ Zurich/ 10.6.1987" appearing on the back.
