A green stone trophy mounted on a double-tiered wood base, presented to Pelé by the Olympic World Press Association. The first tier of the base features a Mesoamerican style stone stelae with two stone masks on the sides. The front of the first tier also features a plaque “Asociacion Mundial de Prensa Olympicao/Fuego La Cultura” [Olympic World Press Association/Fire Culture] with a representation of god.
