A gold tone base metal "Oscar" style trophy, mounted on a black marble base, presented to Pelé by the State Government of Rio de Janeiro on the occasion of the release of his documentary film Pelé Eterno (Cinearte Filmes, 2004). A plaque affixed to the base features the Rio de Janeiro coat of arms and is inscribed (translated) "A Tribute from the State Government of Rio de Janeiro to the Eternal Pelé." The trophy is housed in a black velvet box with a gold tone metal plaque affixed to the lid, which is inscribed (translated) "Pelé/ you have conquered all fields/ we hope that your film has the same brilliant career."
