Very fine and rare square platinum and diamond-set gentleman's wristwatch with a platinum Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, bezel and lugs set with 36 baguette diamonds. Matte silver with applied white gold baton indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. White gold “baton” hands. Cal. 10’’’200, rhodium-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 18 jewels, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, shock absorber, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, swanneck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 26 x 35 mm. Thickness 7.5 mm. Notes Ref. 2496 was launched in 1951.
