“Embassy Green Faux Marble Atmos” Jaeger-LeCoultre, “Atmos”, Ref. 5905. Made in the 1960s. Fine and rare, rectangular, gilt brass mantel clock with faux marble panels and wound by barometric changes. Rectangular, gilt brass, brushed and polished, the sides and front panel decorated in imitation of marble, transparent door, aperture to view the pendulum and a stepped plinth base. Brushed gilt chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, fleurde- lys half-hour indexes. Gilt “Breguet” hands. Cal. 526-5, gilt brass, vacuum chamber winding the going barrel, leverescapement driven by annular tension pendulum, locking screw in the base below the pendulum disc, spirit level.
