Fine and very rare, water-resistant, center seconds, self- winding, stainless steel wristwatch with a stainless steel Fliplock bracelet. Two-body, polished and brushed, screw-down case back and Twinlock winding crown, inner case stamped IV.52. White with embossed yellow dart and triangular indexes, luminous dots, outer 1/5th seconds track. Luminous yellow gold alpha hands. Cal. 775, rhodium-plated, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Notes Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 36 mm. THICKNESS 14 mm. Approx. overall length 195 mm. Introduced in the early 1950s, REFERENCE 6098 is the first watch that is part of the Explorer family and was the only Explorer made with a white dial.
