French, late 19th/early 20th century. A Louis XV style gilt bronze and crystal eight light chandelier having an leafy shaped cast corona molded with icicles and issuing acanthus scrolled cage mounted with four scrolled leaf candlearms having foliate shaped bobeches and faux wax candle sleeves divided by four Lalique style frosted glass quarter panels of shell form enclosing four leviton lamp sockets, terminating in a foliate and berried finial. Approximate height 35.5", diameter 30.4".
