HEUER, REF. 1564, "SKIPPER" CHRONOGRAPH STEEL Heuer "Skipper" Chronograph,No. 278669, Ref. 1564/1163V. Made in the 1970s. Fine, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, self-winding, stainless steel wristwatch with date, round button chronograph, register and a stainless steel associated DGMB bracelet with expandable deployant clasp. Notes Dial, case and movement signed. DIM. 42 x 47 mm. THICKNESS 15 mm. Approx. overall length 180 mm. Property of the Original Belgian Family Bought new by the father of the consignor in Belgium, he would wear the watch on rare occasions only, which for a HEUER is rather unusual, but has contributed to its excellent state of conservation. The dial as well as the bezel show almost no wear and the case displays a wonderful bevelled edge always lost when polished. An excellent example of the first automatic SKIPPER made by Heuer.
