“Russian Market Minute Repeater” Paul Buhre, Supplier to the Russian Imperial Court, No. 4694. Made for the Russian market, circa 1900. Very fine and rare, minute-repeating, 18K gold and enamel hunting-cased keyless pocket watch. Four-body, "bassine et filets", polished, the front with finely painted champleve enamel monogram in red and blue. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands.
