Montandon Frères, Locle, No. 123876. Made for the Hispanic market, circa 1880. Fine, small, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased keyless pocket watch. Four-body,“bassine et filets” with floral, foliate and geometric chased decoration. Hinged gold cuvette with engineturnedborder. Silver and gold with painted radial Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, outer minute track, fully engraved andapplied with a cast gold floral decoration. Blued steel fancy pierced hands.
