“Erotic Winding” Swiss. Made circa 1900. Fine gunmetal keyless pocket watch with concealed erotic automaton scene activated during winding. Three-body, “bassine et filets”. Hinged gunmetal back and cuvette, the latter covering the chased gilt brass automaton scene, activated whilst being wound, depicting a couple in a boudoir. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blue painted Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gilt brass “Louis XVI” hands. 18’’’, brass, three-quarter plate, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 54 mm.
