“The Battleship” Fine and very rare bronze, brass and chrome eight day going automaton desk clock with aneroid barometer and thermometer, in the form of a gunship. Made circa 1910. Heavy bronze with two revolving gun turrets, one housing the clock, the other the barometer, chrome funnels, one mounted with thermometer, chrome helm and cleat, chrome and brass railing, hull with chrome port holes and spinning brass propeller on slate and brass base. Silver with radial Roman numerals, blued steel “Scotties” hands. Circular gilt with monometallic balance, large brass movement in the base driving the propeller and the revolving turrets. Dim: H. 26 cm W. 30 cm L .47 cm D. 19 cm.
