“Répétition Minutes” Girard-Perregaux, Chaux-de-Fonds, “Répétition”, No. 177969. Made circa 1910. Fine, large, hunting-cased, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold pocket watch with chronograph. Property of an European Lady Four-body, "bassine et filet", solid, polished, front cover decorated with a lion, a blank shield and scrolling, hinged gold cuvette engraved with award medals and “Repetition”. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th chronograph divisions, recessed subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel "spade" hands. Cal. 20’’’, maillechort, damascened, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, visible chronograph works, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 55 mm.
