“Malachite Set” ImHof, Swiss, No. 22716. Made in the 1930s. Very fine, quartzite and malachite desk clock. To be sold without reserve Circular, scalloped band, edged with malachite, cylindrical feet with malachite inlaid ends. Chapter ring overlaid with translucent green guilloché enamel and with gold radial Roman numerals, the glazed center overlaid with translucent green guilloche enamel over a checker-board pattern ground. Silvered “arrow” hands. Rhodiumplated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, rack regulator. Dial signed. Diam. 10.5 cm.
