“Skeletonized Prototype” Lemania, Made as a prototype in the late 1970s. Fine, rare and unusual, oversized, 18K yellow gold skeletonized pocket watch with splitseconds chronograph and 30-minute register. Three-body, massive, “pomme”, engine-turned bezel, transparent back, co-axial start-stop in the crown, olive pusher in the band at 11, sapphire crystals. Engraved blackened gold chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, inner gold chapter ring with black five-minute/seconds Arabic numerals and 1/5th second divisions. Black hands. Cal. 1130 S, skeletonized, gilt brass and brushed steel, fully chased and engraved, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, Breguet balance spring, “swan-neck” micrometer regulator. Visible brushed steel chronograph work on the back plate. Diam. 69 mm. Thickness 23.5 mm.
