“Art Deco Agate” Léon Hatot, (ATO). Made circa 1935. Fine, large, agate (“onyx du Mexique”), and chrome Art Deco electric mantel clock. Square, agate, stepped cream base, painted metal back secured by four nuts. Square cream agate with applied chromed Art Deco numerals. Black “Art Deco” hands with chromed ball tips. Electronic with quartz standardization. Dim. 31 x 25.5 x 6.5 cm. Property of a French Gentleman Notes The original movement was replaced by a later quartz movement.
