Italian, probably Tuscany, early 19th century. An unusual walnut carved lift-top cabinet or console, the rectangular lid, snipe hinged and opening to a compartment, with projecting fore-corners over a conforming paneled angles centering the single paneled door opening to a single shelf interior raised on scrolled bracket supports. Approximate height 36.5", width 33.75", depth 15.4".
