Staybrite Compur Universal, Genève, “Compur”, case No. 554013. Made in the 1950s. Fine, “Staybrite” stainless steel wristwatch, olive button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter. Two-body, polished and brushed, concave bezel, concave lugs, snap-on back. Two-tone, matte silver, black painted Arabic numerals, 1/5th seconds track with Arabic 5-minute/ seconds, external blue tachometer and telemeter scales, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 45 minute register. Blued steel baton hands. 14,5’’’, rhodium plated, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
