“Lac Leman” Frères Rochat, Genève, No. 642. Made circa 1840. Fine, gold-mounted tortoiseshell and painted on enamel singing bird box. Rectangular, entirely made with tortoiseshell, key compartment to the rear, hinged gold and painted on enamel oval bird cover decorated with a view of Lake Geneva.
