Swiss – Doggy Bag Swiss. Made circa 1880. Fine and unusual, silver, gold and rose-cut diamond-set keyless lady’s bag-form lapel watch with dog’s head brooch. Two-body, bag-form, with gold lattice flap, silver straps with gold bands, hinged transparent back, chased highrelief dog’s head brooch with rose-cut diamond-set eyes. Glazed silverrimmed cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel baton hands. 12’’’, matte gilt, bar caliber, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 36 x 110 mm. overall.
