Multiple Calendar Patry & Chaudoir a Geneve, case No. 7456. Made circa 1810. Fine and very rare, silver pocket watch with triple date calendar, zodiac indication and lunar calendar. Two-body, “bassine et filets”, the back engine-turned, reeded band. White enamel, small central meantime dial with Arabic numerals and outer dot minute divisions, six subsidiary dials on the border for the seconds, days of the week, months and their respective number of days, date, signs of the zodiac and lunar calendar. Gold hands. 52 mm., gilt brass full plate with ringed cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock, steel end-piece, index regulator with silver scale. Movement signed. Diam. 59 mm. Notes Patry & Chaudoir were watchmakers recorded in Geneva from circa 1791-1795. They are known for their repeating skeleton watches and revolutionary watches.
