46° Aereobrigata Chronograph Hamilton, “Chronograph”, case No. 360628. Made in the 1960’s. Fine and rare, water-resistant, asymmetric stainless steel military wristwatch with round button chronograph and register. To be sold without reserve Two-body, polished, flat bezel, straight lugs, screw-down case back with the 46° Aereobrigata embossed logo. Black with luminous painted Arabic numerals, luminous dots, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30 minute register, outer minute track, white “Broad Arrow” logo. Cal. based Valjoux 7733, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Diam. 38 mm. Thickness 14 mm. Notes Why an Italian Airforce wristwatch with the Broad Arrow? Because the 46° Aereobrigata (1954-1964) was attached to NATO Airforce airports, in charge of logistic support to the United Nations' United Emergency Forces (UNEF). It was directly supplied by the United States and England.
