Chronograph Marius Favre & Co. , Genève, No. 2445. Made circa 1900. Fine, 18K pink gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch with chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute register. Four body massive, bassine, polished. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with large Arabic numerals, outer minute track and fifth of a second chronograph divisions, outermost Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary seconds and instantaneous 30-minute register. Gold poire hands. Notes Marius Favre Maker of high precision watches and an important regleur of chronometers. Worked in Geneva at 7, Rue du Stand. His watches and watches that were regulated by him won many prizes in Geneva Observatory trials. The company became Marius Favre & Co. in 1897
