Cloisonne and Painted Enamel Mantel Clock St. Aubin, Swiss, No. 7658809. Made for the Eastern market in the 1960s. Gilt-brass, cloisonné and painted on enamel, 8-day going keyless mantel clock. To be sold without reserve Rectangular break-front with cloisonné enamel finials, friezes and feet, the side panels painted on enamel with portraits of a young man in a feathered cap. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals, painted on enamel surround with flowers on a blue ground. Black halberd hands. Gilt-brass, large going barrel, straight-line lever escapement mounted on the backplate, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, rack and pinion regulator. Movement signed. Dim. 19.5 x 13.7 x 8 cm.
