L e Coeur Des Fleurs Pendant Watch with Concealed Vinaigrette Swiss. Made circa 1820. Very fine and rare, heart-shaped, 18K gold, enamel, turquoise and pearl-set lady’s pendant watch with concealed vinaigrette. Accompanied by a period fitted box. Three-body, heart-shaped, matted, band with applied laurel decoration, the front with applied gold flower sprays set with turquoises, the back decorated to match with a central opalescent guilloche enamel panel decorated with a pansy flower, hinged panel at the tip opening to reveal the vinaigrette grille, pear-set bezel, suspension loops with gold chain. Gold with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, engine-turned center. Blued steel hands. 19 mm., matte gilt, full plate, cylindrical pillars, fuse with chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Dim. 36 x 36 mm.
