Cartier Art Deco Style Clock Must de Cartier, No. 890700002. Made in the 1990's, sold on January 10, 2004. Fine, gilt-brass and lacquer quartz desk clock with alarm, made in the style of Art Deco clocks. Accompanied by the original fitted Must de Cartier box, certificate and instruction booklet. To be sold without reserve Rectangular, polished with applied red and black lacquer floral motif, swiveling on a black lacquered base with two blue cabochon-set terminals, back with 4 screws and blue cabochon-set buttons for the hand and alarm-setting. Matte silver, black Paris numerals, luminous dots, outer minute track. Luminous black Art Deco Breguet hands. With quartz standardization. Case and dial signed. Dim: 95 x 92 x 37 mm. Notes In the 1980's and 90's Cartier revived the splendor of its Art Deco creations with these desk/alarm clocks. Among those re-created were the Basculante and Tryptyque clocks.
