LECOULTRE OBELISK LeCoultre, Obelisk, Ref. 462. Made circa 1970. An unusual brass eight-day going desk clock. Brass and plastic base set with ancient Egyptian motifs on the sides, plastic pillar forming the top of the obelisk. Square silvered with four Egyptian-style birds on each corner. Applied gold Arabic and baton numerals. Dart hands. 18’’’, nickel-plated, 13 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, fl at balance spring. Dial and case signed. Height 24 cm.
