PAGODA CARRIAGE CLOCK Duverdrey & Bloquel, French. Made circa 1910. Fine, gilt-brass, 8-day going carriage clock in the Chinese style. To be sold without reserve Multi-piece, "pagoda", bamboo columns, sides and top panel glazed, hinged handle. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel poire hands. Rectangular brass plates, going barrel, cylinder escapement on a platform, monometallic balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator. Movement punched with Duverdrey & Bloquel’s trademark of a lion in profi le. Dim. 12.2 x 9.1 x 8 cm. excluding handle.
