Lan tern Clock A replica of a 17th century English lantern clock. Made in the late 19th century. Fine, small lantern clock with hour striking. To be sold without reserve Brass posted frame with scroll, bird and flower frets to the front and sides, 4 turned vase-shaped finials supporting the top-mounted bell beneath straps and a final. Brass chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, fleurde- lys half-hour divisions, inner quarter-hour track, faux alarm setting disc in the center. Blued steel Breguet hands. Rectangular brass plates, weight driven two-train with two brass-cased weights, anchor escapement with brass bob pendulum, striking train with outside countweel. Dim. 19.5 x 8 x 8 cm.
