Jaeger-LeCoultre Pendulette Boussole Jaeger-LeCoultre, Ref. 179. Made circa 1939. Fine and unusual, gilt brass and marble 8-day going table clock. Gilt brass dome, flat bezel, U-shaped frame, the terminals for winding and hand-setting, square marble base. Brushed gilt with black painted radial Arabic numerals, inner minute track, central points of the compass design. Blued steel Breguet hands. Brass, rectangular plate, large going barrel, straight line lever escapement on a brass platform, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Dim. 13.5 x 11.7 cm. Notes It is thought that only about 50 pieces of this model were made.
