Cloisonne enamel stars in the sky Imhof, Swiss, No. 1376874. Made circa 1960. A fine and very rare 8-day going brass and cloisonné enamel desk clock. To be sold without reserve Square brass, resting on four circular feet. Blue cloisonné representing the sky with applied gold stars and geometric patterns at the four corners. Applied silver chapter ring with applied baton and tear-shaped indexes. Gilt dauphine hands mounted on a brass globe representing the sun. Rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring. Dim. 12 x 12 cm.
