Fine and rare, ormolu and mother of pearl figural table musical box with Cupid playing the harp, playing two tunes at will. Rectangular outswept ormolu base decorated with stylized foliage, the seated figure of winged Cupid playing an ormolu and mother of pearl-set harp, mother of pearl base, four lion-paw feet. 83 x 48 mm., brass bed, 6 cm.pinned brass cylinder, 61 tuned steel teeth, fly governor, tune selection and start/stop levers as the pedals of the harp.
