A. LANGE & SOHNE – 1ST QUALITY WITH SPECIAL CASE A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte b. Dresden, No. 11907. Made circa 1880. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold and niello, hunting cased keyless pocket watch with Lange’s Guillaume-type balance. Four-body, entirely decorated with gold trellis pattern on a nielloed ground, the front cover applied with a yellow gold foliate cartouche engraved with a crest beneath a coronet. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands.
