French, late 19th century. Pair of Sevres style parian ware figural busts comprising of a man and woman depicting French royalty, Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette in courtly dress. Each bust supported on a porcelain columnar shaft on an integral square plinth base with cobalt glaze highlighted in gilt with leaved wreath on front surrounding interlocking Cs with scrolling. Marked on the bottom with double Louis mark with dot in interior above W. Overall approximate height of Marie Antoinette 14.3", Louis XVI 13.9".
