Australia, circa 1992 - 2006. Collection of 4 Colin Heaney art glass flutes or goblets, the earliest dated 1992 with iridized blue pulled design on mottled pink or rose ground, the stem headed with crystal ball and terminating in clear circular foot.(height 8,75"). The 2001 dated goblet iridized in electric blue with the stem headed with crystal ball and terminating in blue iridized circular foot (height 9"). The 2005 dated goblet with iridized fish-scale motif in blue and silver-gray on a stylized stem and blue circular foot The 2006 dated goblet with end of the day colors in blue, white, gold on a stylized gold iridized stem and circular blue foot (9.25"). All goblets are acid signed and dated on foot along with the Heaney Glass label and original boxes. Hand made in Australia. Colin Heaney is a world renowned glass sculptor. Originally from Canada he moved to Australia when he was 18 for a surfing trip and stayed, settling in the small town of Byron Bay – famous for its surf and arts culture. From there he produced amazing works of art for galleries all over the world. Apparently, Colin Heaney is no longer blowing glass but has moved on to textiles.
