BREITLING POCKET WATCH SILVER Breitling, Locle, No. 1665. Made circa 1880. Fine and very rare silver pocket watch. Accompanied by a Breitling service receipt and modern Breitling pouch. To be sold without reserve Three-body, bassine, engine-turned with polished borders, reeded band. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands. 42 mm, frosted gilt, 4 jewels, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed. Diam. 50 mm. Notes This particular lot is a very early example of a Breitling pocket watch. The watch was serviced in 2004 at the Breitling factory in Geneva.
