American, 20th century. Group of two knives comprising of a large bowie knife with steel blade and finger guard topped by bands of ebony and brass, with horn handle decorated on end with carved in relief of ram head, approximately 13 3/8" long; and a medium size hunting or bowie knife with steel blade and etched brass finger guard decorated with foliate pattern and bands of brass and horn, with horn handle decorated on end with carved bust of a ram, etched signature at base of blade "Potocki", approximately 9 7/8" long.
