Louis XV style bombe commode or chest with shaped marble top above two long pull out drawers with scrolled foliate and rocaille ormolu handles and key escutcheons with facial mask motif, side edge of case with additional trailing ormolu mounts with shell and leaf motif, supported on four cabriole legs terminating on ormolu mounted scrolled toes. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 33.6", width 46.25", depth 20.75". Provenance: Previews Interiors & Antiques in Macon, Georgia whereby acquired by a Private Collection in Atlanta, Georgia.
