Fine, solid silver cased, fusee-driven, 8-day going, hour and half-hour striking carriage clock. Accompanied by the original fitted box and key. To be sold without reserve Multi-piece, solid silver, rounded pillars, reeded friezes, foliate engraved top with glazed aperture to view the escapement, acorn fi nials, glazed on three sides, solid silver back door with foliate engraving, bun feet, hinged handle. Solid silver with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, foliate and fl ower engraved mask. Blued steel Breguet hands. Rectangular gilt-brass with foliate engraved backplate, six pillars, spring barrels with fusee and gut for both trains, straight-line lever escapement on a platform, monometallic balance, self-compensating fl at balance spring, index regulator, striking on a bell. Case and movement signed, London hallmarks for 1975. Dim. 15.6 x 9.8 x 7.4 cm. Excluding handle.
