Chinese carved rosewood armchair with cloud scrolls under undulating top rail on back above ornate circular back medallion with birds, flowers and bat surrounding scene with birds and flowers with characters. Arms with bird and floral motif at center sides, apron with similar carved motif. Overall raised on four square legs joined by box stretcher and terminating with scrolling on feet. Approximate height 38", width 24.25", depth 18.5", seat to floor 19.75".
