KELEK FIVE-MINUTE REPEATING JACQUEMART WATCH Kelek, Swiss, No. 316. Made circa 1990. Fine, gilt-metal, five-minute repeating, keyless pocket watch with jacquemart automaton. Accompanied by the original Kelek box and guarantee (now void). C. Three-body, bassine, polished bezel, reeded band, the back with engraved foliate and engine-turned decoration, button at 5 o’clock for activating the repeating. D. Small white painted with Breguet numerals, outer minuet divisions, outer blued reserve with applied gilt-metal jacquemart figure appearing to strike a bell during repeating, a further figure playing a lyre and a dog and game bird below. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 26 mm., gilt, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, shock absorber, micrometer regulator. Dial signed. DIAM. 49.5 mm.
