Atmos Faux Tortoiseshell Jaeger-LeCoultre, "Atmos. " Made circa 1970. Fine, rectangular, gilt brass, lacquer and glass Atmos clock wound by barometric pressure changes. To be sold without reserve Rectangular, gilt brass, polished and brushed, glazed front door, the inclined top, base and sides lacquered in imitation of tortoiseshell, the brushed brass back with engraved dedication, adjustable front bun feet. Two-tone rectangular, brushed gilt with applied gilt brass radial Roman numerals, aperture for the pendulum and locking lever. Gilt brass “dauphine” hands. Gilt brass, vacuum chamber winding the going barrel, lever escapement driven by annular tension pendulum, locking lever above the pendulum disc, regulator at the top. Dial and movement signed. Dim. Height 27.5 cm., width 23 cm., depth 14 cm.
