JAEGER LECOULTRE, ZODIAC CLOCK Jaeger LeCoultre, Swiss. Made in the 1960s. Fine and very rare brass and glass 8 day-going desk clock decorated with zodiac signs. Crescent-shaped brass base mounted on a circular base holding two glass plates held by a brass surround. The back blue glass plate decorated with painted zodiac signs. The front transparent glass plate with spider-web pattern and painted black and gold stars. Baguette, skeletonized, train running in straight line in small two bar frame, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self-compensating flat balance spring. Case signed. Diam. 17.8 cm. Height 23 cm.
