"Criquet", No. 1210, Brer ete S.G.D.G., circa 1900. Fine and unusual silver keyless alarm watch. Three body, massive, "pomme et gouge " with gold bow, the small glazed alarm setting aperture for minutes adjustment on the revolving bezel with gold border, the back chased in high relief with a locust and outer floral decoration. Hinged silver engineturned cuvette, pierced for the sound, inset on the reverse with a thin blued steel panel increasing the sound transmitted by a pin, in the manner of a gramophone. White enamel with Roman numerals, red half hour divisions and outer minute ring visible through the bezel aperture only. Blued steel "spade " hands.
